On 1968 Kabir Welfare Trust (KWT) was formed and it got duly registration in 1976 with the society registration act. Al-haj Abdul Hakim was nominated as the president of the said trust and Abdul Ghafoor Ansari as secretary.

The Trust is guided by the vision of one man, whose initiative has extended in setting up our Foundation. Haji Abdul Hakim Sb is the founder of KWT. His initiative in the form of KWT is only a significant effort to repay the society that has nurtured him.

In the above said personalities and functionaries Jb. Syed Shamim Ahmad Madni, Abdul Ghafoor Ansari proved to be most efficient. With the constant efforts of these two personalities two more institutions were established namely “Kabir  Womens College” and “Al-Kabir Polytechnic“. The performance made by Al-Kabir Polytechnic famed the trust far and wide. After the demise of its secretary Abdul Ghafoor Ansari, Al-haj Mohammad Fahim Sb. was appointed as the secretary of the Al-Kabir Polytechnic. With the able guidance of Jb. Mohammad Fahim  the progress and prosperity of Al-Kabir Polytechnic touched a great height. The next destination of Kabir Welfare Trust is to establish an Engineering College in near future. This will prove another glittering star on the crown of Kabir Welfare Trust.

Kabir Welfare Trust is committed towards providing education and fulfilling urgent social needs. Education is one of the fundamental building blocks of societal structure. Building a full and wholesome world for children not only fulfills an urgent social need, but is also a developmental imperative. The trust currently runs two schools, one women’s college, a Diploma Engineering College and have plans to start a Degree Engineering College in  near future. Masjid-e-Umar a well maintained Masjid  is also under the trust.
