It gives me immense pleasure to note that Al-Kabir Polytechnic is bringing out yet another issue of its annual college magazine “CANVAS-2021” which provides a platform to unveil the hidden talents of our students. As rightly said by Stephen S. Wise, “Vision looks inward and become duty. Vision looks outward and become aspiration. Vision looks upward and become faith”.

Al-Kabir Polytechnic occupy a place of prominence among the leading polytechnics under JUT. We are ever willing to encourage and support activities by students and faculty to promote the cause of the quality education in our campus. We at Al-kabir polytechnic have created an ambience and environment that foster learning and provides the students with opportunities to explore and grow through situations that challenge them to identify their strength and strengthens them. CANVAS-2021 is step forward in this direction as we believe that the all-round development of a student cannot be achieved by confining the process of teaching and learning within the four walls of a classroom.

CANVAS-2021 is an effort to guide student “how to think not what to think”. This is an ideal blend of creative thinking, art, knowledge and wisdom which vibrates in the inner soul of all stake holders.

I congratulate the entire CANVAS-2021 team for their untiring effort in bringing out this magazine in a very innovative way. I also convey my best wishes to the students, staff and principal of Al-Kabir Polytechnic to make this work a success.
